Biography

As an experienced material scientist, Liz joined the Pharmaceutical Development function of AstraZeneca in 2003 as an Associate Principal Scientist specialising in Polymer Science, focussed on polymeric excipients used across a wide range of formulation platforms. Since 2014, in her role as a Principal Scientist in Material Attributes and Product Performance, she has responsibility for the development of materials control strategies for drug product development and commercialisation, including both APIs and excipients. Liz has served as a main board member of IPEC Europe for 4 years.
